Winter is coming, and that means cold and cough season is right around the corner! Did you know that here at Rainbow Pediatrics, we offer point-of-care testing right here in the office? That means we can test your kiddos for: Flu Covid RSV Strep And the best part? We've ALWAYS offered same-day appointments! We know how quickly little ones can go from feeling great to feeling miserable. If your kiddo wakes up one morning feeling under the weather, give us a call at 8am, and we'll let you know what kind of same-day availability we have! Before heading to Express Care and potentially waiting hours to be seen, give us a call first! We may be able to get your little one in right here at Rainbow Pediatrics. Our goal is to help your family get answers, get the care your kiddo needs, and avoid an unnecessary trip whenever possible! Rainbow Pediatrics will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will be OPEN Saturday, September 5th during our regular Saturday hours. Prescription Refills: If your child needs a prescription refill, please call the office ahead of time. We strongly recommend calling in refill requests before 10:00 AM on Saturday to allow our team enough time to process them before the holiday closure. On-Call Coverage: Lauren Young, NP will be on call this weekend. On Monday, Kara Pool, NP will be on call if our nurse triage team needs to reach out to a provider. Rainbow Pediatrics will be closed on Saturday, July 4th in observance of the holiday. While we’re typically open on Saturdays, our office will be closed this week so our staff can enjoy the holiday with their families. ✨ Please remember: If you need any prescription refills, forms, or other non-urgent requests, please contact our office before Saturday. We will be open Friday during our regular business hours and are happy to help! For urgent medical concerns on Saturday and Sunday, our on-call nurse will be available by calling our office. If additional medical guidance is needed, Lauren Young will be available as the on-call provider. We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and happy Fourth of July! ❤️
